From Waste to Taste: Mastering the Art of Zero-Waste Cooking

Maroondah City Council in partnership with Open Table are excited to deliver a no waste cooking demonstration.

Join us for an educational and interactive cooking experience, focusing on innovative yet simple ways to reduce our household food waste. Our facilitator will share helpful tips and tricks about reducing food waste, save money, and learn how to make delicious zero waste recipes.

Be inspired to get creative with vegetable scraps, odds and ends and excess seasonal produce!

Open Table shares free food with those in need in neighbourhoods across Melbourne. They use surplus food that would otherwise be thrown away and turn it into nutritious meals to share with the community. They do this to increase food security and reduce food waste.
