Join permaculture and sustainability educator, Anna the Urban Nanna, to learn about the many different ways of composting and using worm farms to reduce your kitchen and garden waste.

This presentation removes the challenges of composting by explaining the basics and exploring different compost systems to find the right one for your needs. You’ll learn about:

  • The science of compost ratios in straightforward language.
  • Different commercially made compost systems and worm farms and which gardens they suit.
  • DIY compost bins and bays.

The workshop will demonstrate examples of healthy compost and worm castings, provide useful resources to guide your further learning and a follow-up document with links to resources and suppliers of compost-related equipment around Naarm/Melbourne.
