The playspace at Woodland Park in Croydon South will be renewed as part of the Woodland Park Enhancement Plan that was endorsed by Council in March 2023.
You can find out more about the community consultation and the Enhancement Plan on Council's Your Say website.
The playspace will provide inclusive structural play elements that promote physical activity, social interactions, problem solving, safe risk-taking, lead and follow, inclusion, cooperation and sharing.
The works will also include upgrades to the hardcourt and gathering area as per the endorsed enhancement plan.
More information will be provided as the project progresses.
A new public toilet will also be built nearby the playspace. The public toilet will provide increased opportunities to enjoy Woodland Park, making it easier for our community to enjoy time in Maroondah's open spaces. More information will be provided once available.
