Energy and Water Saver Kits

Maroondah has partnered with Knox and Yarra Ranges Council to make Energy and Water Saver Kits available for residents and business to use free of charge. The kits will allow you to measure the energy, water use, and waste output of your home, community building or business.

The easy to use kits comes with a step by step guide to help you test for water leaks, high energy items, costly behaviours and other building design flaws that could be contributing to your water and energy bills.

Each kit contains the following items:

  • thermal Imaging Camera
  • power Meter
  • stopwatch
  • thermometer
  • CSIRO Home Energy Saving Handbook
  • instruction guide.

The kits can help you to take actions that could save you money and reduce your emissions.

Energy and Water Saver Kits are available for you to borrow from your local library. The loan period is for one week.
