Heathmont bollards
Twenty-three bollards, 10 wheel stops, and two bespoke planter boxes have been installed in the Heathmont shopping precinct on Canterbury Road.
The bollards are adorned with residents’ artwork in celebration of the eleven nature reserves in Heathmont and were coordinated by the Heathmont History Group.
The bollards feature images and artwork of the animals and vegetation in the area, providing a colourful addition to the shopping precinct while also improving the safety and amenity of the area. This is just one of many shopping centre precinct upgrade programs being undertaken across Maroondah.
The community artwork project was completed with funding from the Victorian Government’s Outdoor Activation Fund.
