Each term Wyreena Community Arts Centre offers a range of short and ongoing classes in the creative arts, where beginners and the more experienced are always catered for. Classes include painting and drawing, pottery, sculpture, mosaics, relaxation classes and much more.

This is a skill-based class where students are supported to learn drawing skills, progressing to activities that develop their abilities and confidence in the drawing process.

For children who love to make, paint, or create using mixed media to explore a variety of art forms.

In this special four-week program, students will design, construct and decorate their own castle using recycled materials. Students will move through a structured program each week, building their castle from scratch, ready to bring home the completed project at the end of May
This class is located on the ground floor.
Our young potters will learn hand modelling techniques, sculpture, decorating and glazing.

Students will enhance their skills using mediums including pencil, pastel, acrylics and charcoal. All levels are catered for.

Design artworks out of tiles, glass and broken china using techniques required to create table tops, plaques, pots or anything else you like. All levels are catered for.

You will have the opportunity to create ceramics by handbuilding as well as using the wheel. You'll learn glazing techniques to produce beautifully finished pieces. All levels catered for. Please note these are not wheel-only classes.

Experience tranquillity and wellbeing through the gentle movements and postures of Hatha Yoga. All levels catered for.
Please wear loose clothing, and bring:
Experience the physical and mental benefits of yoga, in this special class adapted for people with mobility limitations. All poses are done using a chair for support, allowing students to focus on breath, strength and safe stretching. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a blanket.
