Nature Discovery - with a focus on arachnids

Ben Kurek will help you discover and learn about some of the spiders living in Maroondah.

This is one of three nature discovery activities being held in Maroondah designed to encourage participation in the 2026 City Nature Challenge from Friday 24 April to Monday 27 April.

Join us on a guided walk through nature, focusing on spider that are found in and around Maroondah.

This event is subject to weather forecast. Heavy rain, strong winds or thunderstorms may result in the event being cancelled.

• Registrations are essential and places are limited. Please complete one registration form for each participant.

What to wear

Please dress for the expected weather and wear closed footwear that is safe for uneven ground. Please note you may be walking on uneven ground and encounter stinging or biting insects or tripping hazards such as fallen branches and potholes. Please stick to the trails.
