EcoActiv provide a solar panel home collection service. You can recycle any of the following types of panels and equipment with Ecoactiv: Monocrystalline Solar Panels, Polycrystalline Solar Panels, Thin-Film Solar Cells, Amorphous Silicon Solar Cell, Biohybrid Solar Cell, Solar Mounting Racks, Solar Mounting Frames, Inverters.

Council On Call Hard Waste Collection

  • Eligible residential households are entitled to a maximum of two collections per financial year.
  • Solar panels (max 6) are classified as home improvement materials, a maximum limit of 0.5 cubic metres applies to home improvement materials.
  • To arrange collection book online now, phone 1300 88 22 33 or visit one of Council’s Customer Service Centres.
  • Maximum of 2 cubic metres of acceptable items taken per booking.

Sircel

Sircel provides a solar panel and e-waste recycling service Australia-wide. They accept used panels up to 2100×1090 mm in size, along with de-framed panels, inverters, junction boxes and other electrical components. Panels are processed at their facilities in Parkes, Yatala and Dandenong, where materials like aluminium, glass, copper, and silver are recovered and returned to the circular economy.
