Croydon Town Centre Structure Plan

In 2006, Maroondah City Council prepared the first Structure Plan for Croydon Major Activity Centre area. The area has seen significant changes since the first structure plan was prepared.

Council is now preparing a new Structure Plan for the Croydon Major Activity Centre. As part of that process of preparing the new plan, we are checking back in with the community to review and update the plan to ensure it is in line with current social, environmental and economic challenges and opportunities.

In early 2021, Council prepared a discussion paper to explore future opportunities for the Centre. The paper includes housing, businesses, environment, urban design, transport, and community infrastructure opportunities.

You can read the Summary Discussion Paper or the detailed Discussion Paper in the document library.
