The gravel section of Central Avenue, Croydon South between Mulduri Cres and Woodland Park will be sealed.

As part of Council's Sealing of Gravel Roads Program, the gravel section of Central Avenue in Croydon South will be upgraded and sealed.

Council has completed community consultation and thanks residents for the feedback submitted. With consideration to the feedback received and further refinement of the detailed design plans, the waste vehicle turnaround arrangement at the end of Central Avenue has been altered. These changes aim to improve the upgrades and their implementation with surrounding infrastructure, and to better reflect existing conditions. The remainder of the road will be unchanged.

The works are scheduled to begin in November and are expected to finish mid December (subject to weather conditions).
