Stage 4 of the Scenic Avenue flood mitigation works were completed in 2022 in Alexandra Road to Scenic Avenue and Vista Avenue in Ringwood East.

As part of Council’s continuing commitment to the construction of stormwater drainage infrastructure improvements, drainage upgrades are planned for Alexandra Road in Ringwood East. 

The works will take place from 23 Alexandra Road to Vista Avenue and are scheduled to take 12 weeks (subject to weather conditions).

Road closure

During this time, Alexandra Road will be partially closed to through traffic. Property access will be maintained for local residents in co-ordination with the contractor,

The road closures will be undertaken in three stages to minimise disruption for residents and the Eastwood Primary School community.

Alternate routes will be available in line with a traffic management plan.
