Vapes – otherwise known as electronic cigarettes, e-cigarettes, or personal vaporisers are unable to be disposed of in any bin.

Council Customer Service Centres

You can drop off vapes for recycling to Council's Customer Service Centres:

  • Croydon Customer Service Centre, Civic Square, Croydon 
  • Realm, 179 Maroondah Hwy, Ringwood
  • If any vapes are leaking, please place separately into a zip lock bag before disposal.

Vapes are also accepted at our E-waste and more events held in May and October each year. See the electronic waste collection page for details.
