The Bayswater Business Precinct (BBP) is located in the south east corner of Maroondah and is home to 4,500 businesses, supporting 30,000+ jobs.

I am really proud of Council’s role in working in partnership with our neighbouring councils to support the growth of this important precinct, which generates 38% of Maroondah’s total productivity output, equating to $5 billion.

Maroondah, in partnership with Knox and Yarra Ranges councils, has established a Bayswater Business Precinct program to support local leadership and help position the precinct to attract future investment, increase business competitiveness and generate sustainable employment. Another recent achievement is supporting the transition of businesses from the automotive supply chain - retaining these businesses in this precinct and supporting them to upskill and adapt to the changing needs will ensure that we are able provide a strong economy for Maroondah and the eastern region.
