Notice of intention to lease - Dorset Recreation Reserve

Maroondah City Council (Council) gives notice under section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) of its intention to enter into a lease with Amplitel Pty Ltd for the installation, operation and maintenance of a telecommunications facility in respect of the land shown hatched on the plan below, being part of the land contained in certificate of title volume 8975 folio 770 and known as Dorset Recreation Reserve (Land).

The principal terms of the proposed lease will be:

  • Term: 20 years
  • Permitted Use: The provision of a telecommunications facility including installation, inspection, maintenance, construction, evacuation, replacement, repair, renewal, alteration, upgrade, cleaning, operation, access to and from and removal of the facility on the Land at the end of the term.

A person may make a submission on the proposal in accordance with Council’s Community Engagement Policy.

Submissions must be made by 22 November 2023 and may be sent by:

  • Email: maroondah@maroondah.vic.gov.au with the email subject line of “Submission - Proposed Lease - Dorset Recreation Reserve”
  • Post: PO Box 156, Ringwood VIC 3134

After considering all submissions, Council will decide whether or not to proceed with the proposal.
