Empowering educators to influence and navigate change

Next date: Thursday, 09 May 2024 | 07:00 PM to 09:00 PM

Sarah Louise Gandolfo

This program has been designed for early childhood settings with educators and local leaders in mind as a way of building confidence and capacity within teams.

If the last few years have taught us anything, it’s that change is inevitable, growth is constant, and how we move through these spaces is key!

Participants will explore the theories needed to understand the change process, how to make the most of available time, and how to use data to plan for the present and the future.  Alongside the theory, you will learn skills required for agile thinking, leaning into a growth mindset, and working through conflict within teams.

There will be an opportunity at each session to reflect on your practice and what you have learnt and implemented. This program is a game changer for those looking to stretch themselves and thrive in their workplace!

Topics covered will include:

  • The theory and psychology of change
  • Bringing people on the journey
  • Elements of positive workplace culture
  • The misnomer of time management in early childhood settings
  • Working efficiently and productively
  • Strategy planning and big picture thinking
  • Prioritising wellbeing in yourself and others
  • Connecting with community for professional growth
  • Networking skills and strategies
  • Working through conflict as a leader and as a team
  • Using data within your strategic plan
