Join this free information session to understand how the blurred line between gambling and gaming is placing young people at risk of harm.
Discover the gambling-like tactics and features used by the designers of many popular online games played by young people and discover how parents and carers can help to keep them safe.
Children and young people are being exposed to gambling through gaming. This is an important presentation for parents of primary and secondary school aged children.

About the presenter
Penny Christie has worked for the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation in the Gamblers Help team at EACH for almost 7 years as a Community Engagement Officer.
The role provides a platform to enable current evidence-based information sharing, about the risks and harm caused by gambling within the community.
Penny is passionate about informing young people and adults about the perils and collateral damage caused by gambling harm and how the normalisation of gambling and gaming within Australian society is driving more people to gamble.
