Council has completed works at Settlers Orchard, Croydon Hills.

Council has undertaken works to renew, redesign and desilt the reserve pond at Settlers Orchard, Croydon Hills.

During February, Council investigated the silt load of the Settlers Orchard Pond. As part of the investigation works the water in the pond was lowered and may have resulted in:

• noise disruptions from heavy machinery and water pumps
• bad odour from sediment removed from the pond
• path closures to keep all members of the community safe.
