The Federal Government has committed funding through the Roads to Recovery Program for the rehabilitation and upgrade of Yarra Road, Croydon North / Wonga Park.

As part of the Yarra Road upgrade and footpath construction works, the Federal Government has committed funding through the Roads to Recovery Program for the asphalt resurfacing works on Yarra Road, Croydon North.

Due to traffic volumes and the connectivity of this road, these works will be undertaken as night works to ensure safety for the workers and to minimise the impact to traffic. 

The works will include asphalt resurfacing of traffic lanes from Panorama Drive to Gatters Road, Croydon North.

Works are expected to commence on Sunday 4 June 2023 and are expected to be completed over two nights. Working hours will be 7:30pm to 5:30am

Access during the works

To facilitate a safe working environment for the contractor and the public, overnight road closures will be in place during the works.
