Urban Art Tours

Hayden Dewar Time and Place 2022

Developed in partnership with Eastland, this 90 minute Ringwood Urban Art Tour showcases some of the diverse and ground-breaking public art in the Ringwood arts precinct including works at Ringwood Station, along Maroondah Highway, in the Eastland carpark and the unique Backyard. The tours highlight the ways in which local, nationally and internationally recognised artists have responded to public spaces in the heart of the Ringwood arts precinct.

2024 tour details

• Meeting point: Realm Customer Service desk (ground floor). 179 Maroondah Highway, Ringwood 3134. 
• Cost: $5 + booking fee per person. Cost includes a coffee voucher for after the tour. 
• Tour dates:
  • Friday 23 February, 10am to 11.30am
  • Friday 1 March, 10am to 11.30am
  • Saturday 23 March, 10am to 11.30am
  • Friday 12 April, 10am to 11.30am

Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, and be prepared with water bottle, sunscreen, and rain protection if necessary.

School tours

The Arts and Culture team has capacity to host urban art tours in Maroondah for primary school and high school students. We are able to customise a suitable tour according to your needs, including for VCE art students. For school tours, we require at least six weeks notice.
