Join the Maroondah Arts Collective for a deep dive into your creative practice. In this special workshop, delivered by Debby Maziarz, explore how to get your creative practice started (or restarted) and how to use your unique skills and assets to attract partners, resources and audiences.

This highly interactive workshop is targeted at artists and creative people working in all art forms and will cover:

  • the nuts and bolts of getting started
  • systems and processes to keep you on track
  • clarifying your mission statement
  • knowing your costs and pricing
  • managing your time
  • setting personal, professional and artistic goals.

A key part of all Maroondah Arts Collective events, this workshop will also include lots of opportunities to share stories and learnings and connect with your local creative community.

About the facilitator

Debby Maziarz is a community development practitioner and creative entrepreneur who mentors artists, organisations and communities to create solid plans for resourcing their work. Renowned for unearthing innovative and ‘fundable’ ideas, Debby is driven to build the capacity of artists to get their important work done. She’s also got a great track record in building sustainable creative practices – including founding Melbourne’s Westside Circus and her arts leadership consultancy Debby Maziarz Productions.
