The Boulevard, Heathmont Drainage Improvement Works

Council will be undertaking drainage improvement works in The Boulevard and Yallamba Place, Heathmont.

As part of Council’s annual stormwater drainage infrastructure program, the drainage infrastructure in The Boulevard, Heathmont and along Yallamba Place has been identified for upgrade.

Council’s contractor APS Drainage and Civil has been engaged to undertake stormwater drainage improvement works within the rear easement of 21-27 The Boulevard, at the intersection of Yallamba Place and The Boulevard and along Yallamba Place. The works are scheduled to commence on the 22nd May 2023, taking approximately five weeks to complete, subject to weather.

Road Closure during working hours 9am to 3pm

To facilitate a safe working environment for both the public and our contractors, Yallamba Place will be closed to through traffic between the working hours of 9am to 3pm. Please plan an alternative route during this time.

Access to school

We acknowledge the importance of this route during school pick up times and have made provisions to allow access through Yallamba Place between 7am-9am and 3pm-5pm, under the guidance of on-site traffic controllers.

Local access during the works

While it is anticipated that minor delays will occur throughout the works to ensure safety, the contractor will endeavour to minimise these impacts as much as possible.
