The residential waste service fees include a 240 litre recycling bin and a 240 litre garden waste bin. 

Residents are welcome to request an additional recycling bin at no additional charge. They can also choose to reduce their waste bin from a 120 litre bin to an 80 litre bin and save $42.50.

Ringwood Activities Area visitor parking vouchers

Visitor parking voucher booklets contain 18 vouchers (12 x 4-hour vouchers and 6 x daily vouchers) and $31. Please note there is a maximum of 1 booklet per property per month. 

Builder/Contractor Parking Permit  

Maximum of 5 permits for a maximum of 13 weeks and costs $13 per permit.

The statutory fee information provided is a summary of fees set within the Planning and Environment (Fees) Regulations 2016 and Subdivision (Fees) Regulations 2016. Should any discrepancy exist, fees set within the relevant regulations apply. 

Subdivisions 

For land subdivisions where certain works become the responsibility of Council (such as roads, drainage, footpath or water sensitive urban design elements) the developer must submit a cost estimate of the works to Council.

In accordance with the Subdivision Act  the fees for checking the engineering plans shall be 0.75% of the estimated cost of construction, and will generally be reflected on the planning permit.

Under the same Act, fees for supervising the works shall be 2.5% of the estimated cost of construction, and will generally be reflected on the planning permit.

Development plan checking fee

The fee for checking engineering plans for all other developments will be based upon the size of the development.

Amendments to approved engineering plans

When an applicant/consultant/contractor requires minor amendments to a previously approved Engineering Plan, Council will charge a minimum amendment fee of $113.

If the proposed changes are in effect a full redesign the standard engineering plan checking fees nominated above apply.

Please note these fees are subject to change depending on the nature of the development.

Construction management plan checking fee

The fee for checking a construction management plan required under a planning permit is $169.
