Whale carabiners made from recycled plastics by Precious Plastics Monash. 

See a display of sculptures made of recycled plastic by students from Croydon Hills Primary School showcased in the Collectors Cabinets on the Ground Floor at Realm. The sculptures were created by the students following a workshop with artist Carolyn Cardinet.  

A display of objects made by Precious Plastics Monash will be showcased in the Collectors Cabinets of Level 1. Precious Plastics Monash is a student-driven initiative dedicated to pioneering sustainable initiatives. Part of the global Precious Plastic movement, they are committed to turning discarded plastic materials into valuable resources, while promoting sustainability and environmental awareness. They aim to foster a circular economy where plastic waste is transformed into useful products, empowering individuals to actively contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future. 

The Collectors Cabinets are on display in association with Peak Plastique, a sound and video installation in ArtSpace at Realm as well as a series of workshops and activities exploring the problem of plastic.
