Join an Auslan tour and Auslan-interpreted talk for the exhibition Un/Becoming. Featuring sculptural ceramics, wearable art, painting and installation, the exhibition and conversation span themes of archetypes and myth, Queerness and ecological storytelling.

Join the Auslan tour of the exhibition Un/Becoming at Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery with artist Claire Bridge (hearing) and Irene Holub (Deaf). The tour will be presented in Auslan and English Interpreted. Deaf and hearing audiences welcome.
In Conversation with Artist Claire Bridge and gallery curators
In conversation - 11am to 12noon
Join artist Claire Bridge and gallery curators in conversation as they discuss Claire’s current exhibition Un/Becoming at Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery. Discover the stories and ideas that have inspired Claire’s work and unpack their potent cultural and political relevance for us today.
Together they will draw out underlying threads and themes and break down creative processes and dissolve certainties in a broad ranging conversation touching on Queerness, ecological storytelling, archetypes and myth asking: how we might respond more fluidly to an increasingly rigid world?

The presentation will be followed by a Q and A. All welcome.
This event will be Auslan/English Interpreted.
