Spend the morning with artists Karima Baadilla and Janelle Low exploring the intersection of craft and remembrance.

You'll start by learning how to fold your own traditional ingot joss paper. Then, move beyond the fold to compose a "still life" offering a personal, visual arrangement of your handmade pieces intended as a gift for your ancestors.

  • Learn the fold: Learn the technique of creating your own traditional ingot joss paper.
  • Make an offering / Create a still life: arrange your offerings into a beautiful, personal still life composition dedicated to your ancestors.

This workshop is part of Golden Offerings, Aeroplane Jelly and a Dragon's Tale, an expansive collaborative exhibition that explores Asian-Australian identity through shared narrative and material transformation.
