Mayoral Art Exhibition

Entries are now closed for the 29th Annual Mayoral Art Exhibition.

The theme for 2024 is Tangent.

This year, artists were encouraged to think differently and experiment with their subjects, materials or techniques. From realism to abstraction or traditional to contemporary (or the reverse) we invited you to investigate new ideas and directions.

Artworks of all mediums are eligible to enter including photography, sculpture, drawing, painting, printmaking and ceramics.

Artists of all ages were encouraged to enter.

Exhibition details

The exhibition is being held at Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery from 2 April to 4 May 2024.

All eligible artworks are exhibited and a number of works were selected for the Mayoral Acquisition and the Ringwood East and Croydon Community Bank Acquisition.

Announcement of both acquisitions were made at the exhibition opening on Thursday 4 April 2024.
