Be among the first to contribute to Tape Realm, a colourful and interactive installation by artist Briony Barr inspired by the geometric forms in and around Realm. Join Briony at the launch event and help create a large-scale collaborative drawing using coloured tape throughout ArtSpace at Realm. No drawing experience is needed. Simply follow a few easy instructions, add your own lines, and watch a striking artwork emerge through creativity and connection.
The event includes a light lunch and a performance by project composer Patrick Telfer (tape loops) and Siwei Wong (electronic harp) who will respond to the evolving artwork as it is created.
The event also celebrates the opening of The What-If Trophies created with washi tape by local artist Raymond Carter in the Realm Library Collectors Cabinets on level 1.

The Tape Realm exhibition can be viewed at ArtSpace at Realm from Friday 18 September 2026 until Sunday 1 November 2026.
Opening times
Realm can be accessed from the Mullum Mullum Creek Trail and is close to the EastLink Trail and Heathmont Rail Trail.
Bike parking is available in Eastland's Town Square car park.
Realm is located opposite Ringwood Station and the Ringwood bus interchange, with direct access to the Belgrave and Lilydale train lines.

The closest parking to Realm is at Eastland's Town Square car park (Level 3M, Entry Z).
