The Arts Lounge - Illustrator’s Exhibition

 

During December 2021 through to February 2022 Wyreena’s Arts Lounge featured the illustrative art and accompanying books of ten talented artists and writers. The Arts Lounge will come alive with book readings and workshops run by exhibiting artists including Angharad Neal-Williams, Annie White, Emily Freeman, Gillian Nix and Jessica Harris. Also featured are Linda Bester, Margaret Krajnc, Richard Holt, Susan Pepper and Tracie Grimwood.

This exhibition highlights the diversity of picture books and demonstrates their appeal to people of all ages. The artworks and books encourage us to colour in as well as teaching us about diversity, show us creative ways of expressing our love of animals, our appreciation of the environment and our affection for those who inspire us. Flowers, fairies, forests, mushrooms, neighbours, loved ones, dogs, cats, birds and landscapes - find them all amongst the pages and on the Arts Lounge walls. Keep an eye out online also for opportunities to meet the artists and to enjoy book readings and workshops.

The Arts Lounge is a place where you can enjoy these artworks in the beautiful setting of Wyreena. All works are for sale.
